How to load a 3rd party RADIUS dictionary
Resolution
Syntax:
loadraddb <key> <dictionary file name> <mapfile name>
- key = xyzzy
- dictionary file name = dictionary \ace\data
- map file name = securidmapfile \ace\data
The ACE/Server does not need to be stopped and this can be run on both Unix and Windows ACE/Server Master or Primary. This should not be run on a Slave or Replica
1. Make any entries to the dictionary file (text file) located in
the \ace\data directory.
2. Save this dictionary file.
3. From a DOS or Unix command prompt:
cd \ace\prog
loadraddb xyzzy c:\ace\data\dictionary c:\ace\data\securidmapfile
This will re-load the dictionary to the RSA ACE/Server.
Note: Some Third Party dictionary files may need to be modified because they contain attributes that will not load. For example, the ascend "abinary" type, where the type is invalid.
