Cisco  Umbrella - SAML Relying Party Configuration - SecurID Access Implementation Guide

This section describes how to integrate RSA SecurID Access with Cisco Umbrella using Relying Party. Relying party uses SAML 2.0 to integrate RSA SecurID Access as a SAML Identity Provider (IdP) to Cisco  Umbrella SAML Service Provider (SP).

Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service

Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service as a relying party SAML IdP to Umbrella .

Procedure

  1. Sign into the RSA Cloud Administration Console and browse to Authentication Clients > Relying Parties and click Add a Relying Party.

  2. Click on +Add for Service Provider SAML.

  3. On Basic Information page enter a Name for the application, ie. Umbrella Then click on Next Step.

  4. On Authentication page.

    1. select the RSA SecurID Access manages all authentication

    2. Select the desired Primary Authentication Method from the dropdown list. i.e Password.

    3. Select the desired policy from the Access Policy for Additional Authentication.

    4. Click Next Step

  5. On Connection Profile page.

    1. Enter the Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) with the ACS fro the Umbrella configuration. For example, https://login.umbrella.com/sso.

    2. Enter the Service Provider Entity ID with the ACS fro the Umbrella configuration. For example, https://login.umbrella.com/sso.

    3. Under Audience for SAML Response ensure Default is selected.

    4. Under Message Protection click on the Download Certificate. The certificate will be used in the Umbrella configuration below.

    5. For IdP signs ensure Entire SAML Response is selected.

    6. Open Advanced Configuration section

    7. For Identifier Type set to Email Address and Property = mail.

    8. Note the Identity Provider Entity ID field . For Example :https://rsa-blr-pe.auth-demo.securid.com/saml-fe/sso.

    9. Click on Save and Finish.

  6. Browse to Authentication Clients > Relying Parties Next to the Umbrella configuration select View or Download IdP Metadata from the Edit button. The metadata file can be used in the Umbrella configuration below.

  7. Click on Publish Changes. Your application is now enabled for SSO. If you make any additional changes to the application configuration you will need to republish.

Configure Cisco Umbrella

Perform these steps to integrate Umbrella with RSA SecurID Access as a SAML SSO Agent.

Procedure

  1. Sign into Umbrella as Admin and browse to AdminAuthentication.

  2. Scroll to SAML Dashboard User Configuration click on Configure.

  3. Select on Other from list of SAML Providers.

  4. Click on Next.

  5. Download or copy the Umbrella SAML provider configuration. This can be used to configure SecurID above.

  6. Click on Next.

  7. Choose XML File Upload for Metadata file exported above or choose Manual Configuration.

  8. For Manual Configuration.

    1. For Entity ID field enter the value for the Identity Provider Entity ID obtained above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=zxuewhj1o8yx.

    2. For Sign ON URL field enter the value for the Identity Provider Entity ID obtained above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=zxuewhj1o8yx..

    3. For Log Out URL field enter the value for the Identity Provider Entity ID obtained above. For example, https://portal.sso.pe.rsa.net/IdPServlet?idp_id=zxuewhj1o8yx.

    4. For X509 Certificate field enter the certificate. This can be obtained from the metadata file downloaded for

    5. the RSA Cloud Authentication Service above and copying the data between the <x509certificate> tags and pasting into this field.

  9. Click on Save.

  10. Click on Test Configuration to verify.

  11. Click Next ,

  12. Click Save and Notify Users.

 

Configuration is complete.
