Collectors do not pick the new password from the password vault in RSA Governance & Lifecycle

Issue
When collectors are configured to obtain the connection password from a password vault, the collectors do not fetch the new password after password rotation from the password vault.
Cause
On the Identity, Account, and Entitlement collector page, when the Test button is clicked, the password is used from the Password vault object, which was already cached after a prior Edit, rather than being fetched from the endpoint.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following versions/patches:
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.2 P09
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0.0 P02
Workaround
The new password can be fetched by making a fake edit in the collector by opening the collector edit page and pressing finish, as every time the finish button is pressed the password is fetched from the endpoint and gets cached.
