Datadog - SAML My Page SSO Configuration - RSA Ready Implementation Guide
Configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service
Perform these steps to configure RSA Cloud Authentication Service using My Page SSO.Procedure
- Sign in to the RSA Cloud Administration Console with administrator credentials.
- Enable SSO on the My Page portal by accessing the RSA Cloud Administration Console > Access > My Page > Single Sign-On (SSO). Ensure it is enabled and protected by two-factor authentication using a Password and Access Policy.
- Click Applications > Application Catalog.
- On the Application Catalog page, search for Datadog and click Add to add the connection.
- On the Basic Information page, enter a name for the configuration in the Name field and click Next Step.
- On the Connection Profile page, choose IdP-initiated.
- Enter the Service Provider details ACS URL and Service Provider Entity ID.
See the Notes section for instructions on how to obtain the ACS URL and Entity ID for Datadog. - In the SAML Response Protection section, choose IdP signs assertion within response.
- Click Download Certificate to download the certificate.
- Click Show Advanced Configuration and configure Identifier Type and Property under the User Identity section as shown in the example in the following screenshot.
- Click Next Step.
- Choose your desired Access Policy for this application and click Next Step > Save and Finish.
- On the My Applications page, click the Edit drop-down menu and select Export Metadata to download the metadata.
- Click Publish Changes. After publishing, your application is now enabled for SSO.
Notes
To obtain the ACS URL and Service Provider Entity ID for Datadog, perform the following:Go to the Datadog home page and navigate to Organization Settings > Login Methods, then click Configure under SAML and copy the needed information.
Configure Datadog
Perform these steps to configure Datadog.- Log on to Datadog (https://datadog.com) using Advanced or Enterprise credentials.
- Hover over Profile and select Organization Settings.
- Select Login Methods and click Configure under SAML.
- Click Choose File to upload the metadata file downloaded from RSA, then click Upload and Enable.
