Error "Unable to generate TSF URL" on RSA Authentication Manager 8.x

Issue
While distributing CTF Token to the user on RSA Authentication Manager 8.x, the following error occurs.

Cause
  • The Name of the user has a bogus character.
  •  User ID, First Name or Last Name included '&' or '<'

Resolution
  • Rename the user in the internal database/external identity source, without special cases '&' or '<' or an umlaut (ü) in User ID, First Name or Last Name to be able to successfully distribute the token with CTF format.
Workaround
A workaround is distributing the token with stdid file format.
