Issue
- Is it possible to disable the Set Out of Office button?
- Once disabled, can it be automatically re-enabled after a set period?
Resolution
Specify which users can use the buttons, all or a sub-set of users. You may want to restrict a button to a set of users who, for example, are application owners or business unit owners.
To hide or disable any button, including the Set Out of Office button, change the Availability for that button.
Navigate to Requests > Configuration > Request Buttons tab and locate Button Name: Set Out of Office. Click the Edit button.
The default availability is All.
Click on All to obtain the User selection screen, where the choices are either Choose user or attribute or Related Entities (that is, Roles, Groups and Entitlements).
Due to this being an application configuration, the button cannot be automatically changed after a set period.
Notes
- The Out of Office feature was introduced in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.2.
