Issue
Active Directory Aveksa Data Collector (ADC) had been running for 45 minutes though it did not appear to collect data.  Is there a way to kill a collector in this state without restarting the entire system?

Resolution
Any collector that has been running for a long time can be killed in the following manner through the UI:
  1. Once the collector is in running state navigate to Admin > Monitoring
  2. In the Data Runs tab on the top we see a button called Actions
  3. Determine the number of currently pending runs.
    • If there is only one currently pending run, select the run ID of the pending run and click the Actions button then click Cancel selected pending run.
Cancel selected pending run
  • If there is more than one currently pending run, click on the down arrow key on the Actions button and choose Cancel all pending runs
Cancel all pending runs
Notes
The steps mentioned in the Resolution section section can be used to kill any type of collector that has been running for a very long time without collecting any data.
