How to obtain an AFX Premium Connectors package for use with RSA Governance & Lifecycle

Issue
When a customer would like to use the AFX SAP Connector in RSA Governance & Lifecycle, they must download and install the AFX Premium Connectors package, also called the RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter. The SAP connector template is NOT included in the AFX Standard Connectors package (e.g., AFX-8.0.0-Standard-Connectors.zip), instead it is part of a separate AFX Premium Connectors package (e.g., AFX-8.0.0-Premium-Connectors.zip). This article describes the process for provisioning access for customers to download the AFX Premium Connectors package.
Resolution
A customer must have purchased the lifecycle component of RSA Governance & Lifecycle product to be eligible for obtaining the AFX Premium Connectors package containing the SAP connector template. Access to download the AFX Premium Connectors package from the RSA Community is, however, NOT automatic even if the lifecycle component was purchased.  A customer must explicitly request access to the RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter (AFX Premium Connectors package) if they plan on using the SAP connector functionality.  Usually such a need is discussed during the evaluation of customer's business requirements with their RSA Account Manager (Sales Representative) whereby the SAP Adapter is subsequently included in the product quote/purchase.

If a customer already has access to download the AFX Premium Connectors package from the RSA Community, they would see RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter available for download on myRSA.  For example:
  • Login to the RSA Community >
  • Downloads >
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle Downloads >
  • View Full Product Downloads >
  • select appropriate site on the top >
  • click Products on the left panel >
  • select RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle under the products list >
  • verify that RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter is listed >
  • click on the serial number under RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter >
  • select the product version and then download the AFX Premium Connectors package (e.g., AFX-8.0.0-Premium-Connectors.zip) >
  • Follow the documentation to import/install the connector package on RSA Governance & Lifecycle UI.

If a customer does NOT have access to download the AFX Premium Connectors package from the RSA Community even though they have purchased the lifecycle component of RSA Governance & Lifecycle product, access to the RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter may need to be provisioned.  The customer in this scenario should get in touch with their RSA Account Manager (Sales Representative) who will take the necessary steps to provision them access to the SAP Adapter.
 
 
Notes
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle Cloud platform includes the AFX Premium Connectors package and the SAP connector template is pre-installed / ready-to-use for the Cloud customers.
  • The RSA Lifecycle SAP Adapter for RSA Governance & Lifecycle version 7.0.0 and earlier, included an AFX SAP license file (AFX-SAP.lic) that must be installed to make use of the SAP connector.  The license file (AFX-SAP.lic) installation is no longer required for RSA Governance & Lifecycle version 7.0.1 and later.
