Manage Relying Parties

Use the Relying Parties page to view the relying parties in your deployment and to perform related tasks. Relying parties are configured using the Cloud Administration Console. You must be a Super Admin to manage relying parties.

Action Description

View relying parties and the statuses.

Click Authentication Clients > Relying Parties.

A relying party has one of the following statuses:

  • Active: The Cloud Access Service (CAS) processes requests from enabled (active) relying parties.

  • Disabled: CAS does not process requests from disabled relying parties.

  • Expired: (Service provider only) The service provider metadata has expired, and CAS does not process authentication requests from this service provider. Click Edit and re-import a new metadata file with a new expiration date.

Add a relying party.

Click Add a Relying Party.

Select Edit from the drop-down menu to the right of the relying party.

(Service provider only) View or download identity provider (IdP) metadata.

Select View or Download IdP Metadata from the drop-down menu to the right of the service provider. Copy or download the metadata to configure the service provider.

The metadata includes the entity ID (the URL for CAS for your company).

(Microsoft Entra ID only) View metadata

Select View Metadata from the drop-down menu to the right of Microsoft Entra ID. Copy the metadata to configure a custom control in the Azure AD admin center.

Disable a relying party (Unavailable for generic OIDC)

Select Disable from the drop-down menu to the right of the relying party.

Enable a relying party (Unavailable for generic OIDC)

Select Enable from the drop-down menu to the right of the relying party.

Delete a relying party.

Select Delete from the drop-down menu to the right of the relying party. This relying party will be removed from CAS.

Copy SAML metadata from an application to share it with services that require a direct link instead of uploading a metadata file.Locate the SAML application from which you want to copy the metadata to share it with services that require a direct link instead of uploading a metadata file. Then, click the drop-down list, and select Copy Metadata URL.
