Issue
When importing an RSA SecurID software token to the RSA SecurID Software Token for Microsoft Windows, the following message displays:

Maximum Tokens Exceeded
 
 User-added image
Cause
By design, only 25 software tokens can be imported to the software token application. Any attempt to import more than this number will throw the error message.
Resolution
Delete any unused or expired software tokens already imported to the RSA SecurID Software Token application, so the number of installed tokens doesn't exceed the threshold value of 25.
