Issue
RSA Authentication Manager Azure Virtual Machine failed to restore the primary instance from an Azure snapshot or backup. This problem may exist across all supported versions of RSA Authentication Manager 8.7 and earlier.
Cause
When restoring the primary instance from an Azure snapshot or backup, the SUSE file system configuration encounters compatibility issues with the Azure platform. 
Resolution
RSA is actively working to fix the issue with Microsoft Azure. In the interim, RSA recommends using the Authentication Manager Backup and Restore feature as per the disaster-recovery policy.
Notes

This solution is fixed in  AM 8.7 SP1 P2.
