Issue
The RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle server attempts to apply the patch on each startup of the ACM instance.   The aveksaServer.log file shows the text "Patch will be (re-)applied" on each startup.
04/01/2018 23:31:26.159 INFO (MSC service thread 1-4) [com.aveksa.migration.jdbctool.CheckDatabase] *** Patch will be (re-)applied. ***
[com.aveksa.migration.jdbctool.CheckDatabase] RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle 7.0.2.137825 P03

Cause
RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle incorrectly fails to match the patch version on startup. As a result, it thinks the patch needs to be applied again.

This is a known issue in the following versions:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.1 P03 and later
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.2 P02 and later

There are no known issues with the patch application during each startup except for a slight increase in the startup time in some instances.

Resolution
This is resolved in the following patches:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.1 Please upgrade to 7.0.2 and patch to the latest patch
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.2 in 7.0.2 P06
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 in the GA version.
