RSA SecurID Access Identity Router is Unexpectedly Unregistered

Issue
An Identity Router unexpectedly shows as distressed after upgrade from version 12.6 (released March 2019) to version 12.7 (released July 2019).
The IDR still responds to actions from the Cloud Administration Console (for example the IDR Test button will return results).
The IDR registration screen is unexpectedly showing the IDR as unregistered.
 
Cause
This is due to a software defect in version 12.6 that can occur if the upgrade occurs under these conditions:
  • An IDR console change was committed after initial IDR registration and..
  • No publish or other IDR restart has been performed since the console change was made

 
Resolution
This defect is not present in version 12.7 so future upgrades should not encounter this issue.
Workaround
Generate a new registration code in the Administration Console and re-register the IDR.  Reference Connect the Identity Router to the Cloud Administration Console.
