Summary
SecurID Governance and Lifecycle software products contain fixes for multiple vulnerabilities that could potentially be exploited by malicious users to compromise the affected system.
Details
Insecure Direct Object Reference (CVE-2021-43770)
RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle prior to 7.5.0 contain an Insecure direct object reference vulnerability in the Change Request module. An authenticated malicious local user could potentially exploit this vulnerability by accessing the few details of Change Request functionality which is not accessible through the application functionality. The IDOR vulnerability is easy to exploit since URL parameter values can be viewed and changed using only the user's web browser, increasing the likelihood of abuse.

Improper Neutralization of Input (CVE-2022-24325)
RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle prior to 7.5.0 contain a Reflected XSS vulnerability in some of the application request URLs. An authenticated user could exploit this vulnerability by adding an XSS payload as part of the URL parameters. The attacker can execute code and bypass the same-origin policy to gather private information about the product.

Recommendation
The following SecurID Governance and Lifecycle software releases contain resolutions to this vulnerability:
- RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle software version 7.5.0 or later
- RSA Identity Governance and Lifecycle software version 7.2.1 P08 or later.

RSA recommends all customers upgrade at the earliest opportunity.
