Issue
Several methods are defined in the HTTP Header protocol.  Which methods are supported by RSA Web Threat Detection, so that the data in these methods are extractable as a defined attribute so that rules and alerts can be written for them?
Resolution
The methods available for HTTP Header protocol are:
  • GET
  • POST
  • PUT
  • DELETE
  • HEAD

What is supported by Web Threat Detection is as follows:
  • GET/POST
  • PUT since 5.1.2
  • DELETE since 6.0

NOTE:  HEAD is not supported currently as of version 6.3.   If a customer requires HEAD method support, then a SalesForce case should be created and Customer Support should then submit a Jira as a new feature request.
