Why do authentication errors occur when performing a SecurID Access Authentication Manager test?

Issue
PrincipalResolutionExceptions like what is shown below will be seen in the Authentication Manager's /opt/rsa/am/server/logs/imsTrace.log when testing SecurID Access IDR(s) to Authentication Manager connectivity from the Administration Console (Platform >Authentication Manager) .
 
com.rsa.authmgr.internal.admin.principalres.PrincipalResolutionException: 
Unable to Resolve Principal:No aliases found, unable to resolve principal by alias ILCDQpbQfJltrmUz

 
Cause
As part of the Authentication Manager test a random user ID is used to attempt authentication.  The random user ID is unlikely to be a valid user in the Authentication Manager.
Resolution
These PrincipalResolutionExceptions are expected and can be safely ignored.
