Issue
Automatic expiry notifications are not sent when RCM configured to use db plugin
When RSA Certificate Manager is configured to use an external LDAP server instead of the internal Xudad database, the automatic certificate expiry notifications are not being sent out.  When using the internal database, the notifications do work.
Cause
The Xudad process would not start the notification thread when using an external datastore.
Resolution
Use RSA Certificate Manager 6.7 build 422 or greater.
Notes
On Solaris only, RSA Certificate Manager 6.7 build 422 Xudad process does not stop when RCM services are stopped.  This is due to the automatic expiry notifications thread not stopping when external datastore is being used.  This issue will be fixed in a new build.  In the mean time, contact RSA Customer Support to obtain a test binary (Bz 107198 / Jira CERTMGR-3435) that resolves the issue.
