Issue
SID: When importing a software token on a Mac getting password prompt.
When importing a token for the first time on a MAC (OS X 10.6.5) with a fresh install of the RSA software, the user is prompted for a Device Password.
Cause
The problem was a result of the Keychain Services API on the MAC. The Keychain program was keeping track of some old VPN/RSA information. To resolve the issue the user deleted the old information that was requesting the token device password associated with this Keychain system and reinstalled the RSA software. They were then able to import the token without being prompted for a password.
Notes
The problem occured when trying to import a token (sdtid file) onto a MAC. The RSA software kept prompting for a device password. They were able to import the same sdtid file onto another MAC and a Windows PC without being prompted for the device password. The customer had the 4.0 MAC software installed. They uninstalled the 4.0 and did a clean install of the 4.1 toekn software but the issue still occured.
