RSA Duplicate Token error

Jump to solution

We are facing issue regarding software token. When we try to add software token in RSA software (Windows) it will give an error "Token import failed. Duplicate token" but token is still usable. Kindly find the attached screenshot and help us to find why we are getting duplication error.

This means one of the serial numbers in the token seed .xml record file is already imported or exists in the AM database.

Find the SN and delete it first if you want to start fresh, or determine why you are attempting to import a Token Serial Number a second time.

In that case you could ignore the warning about not importing the duplicate, as it was one of the token Serial numbers that was not accidentally deleted.
