000038911

Applies To

RSA Product Set: SecurID
RSA Product/Service Type: Dell-based and Intel-based RSA SecurID A250 hardware appliance
RSA Version/Condition: 8.x

Issue

When the RSA SecurID A250 hardware appliance is booted, one of the following warnings displays:
1 Virtual Disk(s) Degraded
1 Virtual Disk(s) is in Critical State

The appliance continues to boot successfully with no issues.

Cause

RSA SecurID A250 hardware appliances run two hard drives that are mirrored in a RAID 1 configuration. When one of the hard drives fails, these messages display.
