Issue
This article discusses support for Firewall-1 running on Check Point Secure Platform (SPLAT) with RSA SecurID protocol.
Cause
Some customers believe it is not possible to integrate a SPLAT based Check Point Firewall-1 with RSA Authentication Manager using the SecurID protocol because there is no RSA product listed to work or install on this platform.
Resolution
SPLAT does support RSA SecurID. SPLAT runs on a stripped-down version of Linux where the RSA Authentication Agent functionality is built directly into the firewall software by Check Point. This means there is no need to install any kind of RSA Authentication Agent.
For assistance with this configuration, users should contact Check Point since the product has been written by them and does not involve installation of any additional RSA software other than RSA Authentication Manager.
