Fixed passcode option missing

Jump to solution

I added 2 new servicedesk users to the Auth Mgr Help Desk role. All other servicedesk users are part of this role.

But the 2 new servicedesk users are missing the "fixed passcode" option in the authentication setting of every user.

What am I missing?

Thanks

Regards

Steve

You need to be sure the role you assign has this enabled:

The canned held desk admin role does not have it, so make a copy of the role, edit the copy, and assign the copy of the role.

Hi Edward,

We are running RSA Authentication Manager for a few years. Current version 8.1 P3

We did make a copy of the helpdesk role. The “old” users has always been a member of this role

They have no issues.

The 2 new users I added to this group, can do everything they should do within this role.

The only option they mis when editing authentication settings of other users is:

Weird..

I’m overlooking something I think, but don’t know what.

Thanks
