Summary:The integrated Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC) within RSA Authentication Manager hardware- based appliances require a security update to address a vulnerability.
Details:

Dell EMC iDRAC9 has been updated to address vulnerability:

  • CVE-2020-5366 - Improper Limitation of a Pathname to a Restricted Directory ("Path Traversal")

Dell EMC iDRAC9 versions prior to 4.20.20.20 contain a Path Traversal Vulnerability. A remote authenticated malicious user with low privileges could potentially exploit this vulnerability by manipulating input parameters to gain unauthorized read access to the arbitrary files.

Recommendation:

RSA recommends all impacted customers to upgrade to Dell EMC iDRAC9 version 4.20.20.20.
