Changes to Forms in Workflow Approval and Activity Nodes require an application restart to take effect in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle

Issue
When making a modification to a FORM in a Workflow Approval or Activity node, the change does not take effect until after the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle is restarted. The changes are saved but the requestor does not see the changes until after the restart. 

In the user interface go to Requests > Workflows > Request/Approval/Fulfillment/Escalation tab > Approval/Activity node > FORM (right-side column).
 
Cause
This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-95657.
 
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle patch levels: 
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 P09
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P04
Workaround
The workaround is to restart the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle application:  As the oracle user, run: 
acm restart
