Issue
This article explains how to hide the user information thumbnail that is displayed when other users attempt to login to a common server.

 
Resolution
This option could be disabled through the GPO as follows:
  1. From Start > Run type gpedit.msc and press Enter.
  2. On the left pane, navigate to Computer Configuration > Windows Settings > Security Settings > Security Options.
  3. Scroll down to these options:
  • Interactive Logon: Display user information when the session is locked
  • Interactive Logon: Do not display last user name
  1. Edit them according to your preference.
