RSA Product Set: SecurID
RSA Product/Service Type: Authentication Manager, RSA SecurID software token, RSA Authentication Manager license
Customers ordering an RSA Authentication Manager user license or RSA SecurID software tokens, receive an email from RSA telling them to download the files.
The email does not contain detailed instructions. This article describes the instructions for downloading the license and software token files in view of recent changes to my.rsa.com site.
Before attempting to download files from my.rsa.com disable any Pop-Up blocker, or Content Filtering Software
Downloading RSA Authentication Manager user license
- Go to https://my.rsa.com.
- Enter your user ID and password. Note: To download the files, you must log in to myRSA as the user whose name is on the order. If you log in as another user, you cannot see the files.
- Next to the myRSA logo, there is a search bar/dropdown menu that has company information, including address and site ID. Select the correct account. To see the entire Account information hover over an item on the drop-down list.
- Hover over the serial number in the center of the page to activate the hyperlink.
- Click the Order# (referenced in your order confirmation email). to open the order details.
- Click the download arrow next to the License/Serial number you want to download.
- Select any version to open the files section.
- Scroll down to find the licenses section.
- Check the box in front of the license.zip file and check the box for I agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- Click Download on the bottom-right corner of the page.
- Download the .zip file, and extract the license files. If you are using the license files to create a new Authentication Manager primary server, leave the license files in the archived format. The Quick Setup process looks for a license files in a .zip format.
Downloading E-Delivery Software Tokens (new process)
You should have already received an email with instructions to create an account for the myRSA website. Please follow those instructions and create your account. You will not be able to log onto myRSA to download your tokens until this step is complete.
Before you begin, we strongly recommend that you review this article and watch the tutorial video it contains. The process to generate the decryption code can only be performed once. If you receive an error during this process, contact RSA Customer Support to request a replacement. Please be aware that this replacement process may take up to 48 hours.
- After your account is configured, log on to myRSA with your user ID and password.
- Check the Token Records yellow label included in your SecurID token shipment. This label contains a Batch ID number, which is required to download your encrypted seed file. You will also need the Token Pack ID and Confirmation Number to decrypt the seed file.
- Click Token Media in the navigation menu.
- On the Token Media page, enter the batch ID from the yellow label.
If you receive the error “Batch Number not available for download," please confirm that you have entered the batch ID correctly, including the hyphen characters. If you continue to receive the error, check the location shown in the dropdown box at the top of the page, directly to the right of the myRSA logo. If necessary, change it to the location with which your token shipment is associated. This will usually be the same address to which your physical package was shipped.
- You will see the seed file for your token order. Check the box for the .zip file, then click Download at the bottom of the page to start the download.
- Unzip the file that you just downloaded.
- You must request the code to decrypt the encrypted .xml token seed media file. Go to RSA Download Central and submit your token pack ID and confirmation number from the yellow label. You will be prompted to create a password for the decryption code. When you create the password note if caps lock is turned on. The password is case sensitive and must be entered in exactly the same way.
- Once the password is created, you must then download another .zip file, which contains that decryption code.
- Decrypt the token seed media file.
- Login to the primary Authentication Manager Security Console.
- Navigate to Authentication > SecurID Tokens > Import Token Job > Add New.
- Once the file has been imported, your new tokens will be ready for use. To obtain the decryption code for your encrypted seed file, follow the steps outlined in this article. If you require instructions to import your seed file, please click here.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
To ensure the security of your seed file, that file will be deleted from our website after you have downloaded it. Seed files will also be deleted if you fail to download them within 150 days. If you need to download your seed file again, please contact RSA Customer Support for assistance.

Downloading E-Delivery Software Tokens (original process)
- Go to https://my.rsa.com.

- Next to the myRSA logo, there is a search bar/dropdown menu that has company information, including address and site ID. Select the correct account.
- Hover over your serial number in the center of the page to activate the hyperlink.
- Click the serial number for the E-Delivery software token license serial number.
- Select No license version.
- Scroll down to find the License section.
- Check the box in front of the license.zip file and in front of the End User License Agreement.
- Click Download on the bottom-right corner of the page.
- Open the .zip file.
- Inside is an E token folder, containing the token.xml files.
- Extract the token.xml.
- Import the tokens in the Security Console (Authentication > SecurID Tokens > Import Token Job).
