Issue
After restarting RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle for any reason, custom changes made with a customerstrings.properties file are lost because the file is no longer uploaded into RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle (Admin > User Interface > Files tab).

Cause
This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-85554.

Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle versions and patch levels:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.0.2 P07
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.0 P01
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1

Workaround
The workaround is to upload the customerstrings.properties file after every application restart.
  1. In the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle user interface, go to Admin > User Interface > Files tab > Choose Customer Strings from the drop down menu > Upload button > Choose the customerstrings.properties file to upload again > OK.
User-added image
  1. Any users already logged in and not seeing the customizations should refresh the page they are currently visiting to see the restored customizations.
Repeat this workaround every time RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle is restarted.
