Issue
Resolution
- Most Android devices do not support Level 3 face identification which is required for Biometric Authentication.
- Currently the only device that supports it is the Pixel 4.
- It’s normal to have the below error when the customer try to use this feature with a non-supported device from securid app mobile logs :
25-Feb-2023 04:46:23 UTC [INFO] : Biometric auth challenge canceled.
The 'Enroll Biometric' error shown is the expected error displayed when the face identification is not sufficiently strong for Authentication.
The customer should be able to use biometric identification if they register a fingerprint on the device.
