How to renew the Self-signed Certificate for Virtual Host Management

Tasks

In order to assess whether a certificate is close to its expiry date or not:

  1. Open the operations console
  2. Navigate to Deployment Configurations > Certificates > Virtual-host Certificate Management
  3. Notice the expiry date of the certificate on the far right column

 

Resolution

In order to renew the virtual-host certificate:

  1. Navigate to Deployment Configuration > Virtual host and load balancing
  2. Take a snapshot/screenshot of the current configuration as is
  3. Disable the feature for Virtual host and load balancing
  4. Navigate back to Deployment Configuration > Virtual host and load balancing
  5. Re-enable the option for Virtual Host and load balancing
  6. Fill out the configuration the same as it was from the screenshot taken in step 2
  7. Save
  8. Navigate to Deployment Configuration > Certificates > Virtual-host Certificate Management
  9. Take note of the newly update expiry date of the Self-signed certificate at the expiry date column
