Issue
During the configuration of variables, such as: WorkItemURL, JobURL, etc. under the Email configuration for all Workflow Nodes (Approval, Activity, Send Email), the resolution is failing. An example using the WorkItemURL variable is below. When editing, it is embedded within an a href tag:
Upon saving the Workflow, the curly brace characters are escaped:
Cause
The variables' curly brace characters are escaped within the HTML content of the email. The necessary conversion of the variable to the actual link is being obstructed, which results in an invalid link within the approval notification delivered to the user.
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following version:
- RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0.0 P05
