  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0.0
Issue
Provisioning Form fails with "An error occurred loading the fields for the form" error while loading the entitlement page after running the form and selecting a user. 

The aveksaServer.log shows the following error at the time of the failure: 
08/02/2023 12:51:13.066 ERROR (default task-12) [com.aveksa.gui.pages.changeRequest.detail.forms.RequestFormDisplayHelper] An error occurred loading the fields for the form: com.aveksa.server.db.PersistenceException: Executing JDBC query failed  
...
Caused by: java.sql.SQLSyntaxErrorException: ORA-00932: inconsistent datatypes: expected CHAR got -

The server.log may show similar ORA-00932 errors

Cause
  • This is a known issue in Customer Supplied databases in Oracle 19.17.0.0.0, 19.18.0.0.0 and 19.19.0.0.0 as per Oracle document 34809715.8 that causes some SQL statements with CASE to fail with ORA-00932 (ORA-932).
  • This is a known issue in RSA Supplied databases after applying the "June 2023 – Updater for Oracle 19c"

 

 

Resolution
  • For Customer Supplied Oracle databases update to Oracle 19.20.0.0.0 or later or contact Oracle Customer Support and request a resolution to issue 34809715.8
  • For RSA Supplied Oracle databases apply the "September 2023 – Updater for Oracle 19c"
