Registering Devices with the RSA Authenticator App

Depending on your company requirements, users can complete registration with the RSA Authenticator app in one of the following ways:

• Registration Using RSA My Page

• Registration Using a Registration Code from the Administrator

Registration Using RSA My Page

1. On one device (for example, your computer), go to the RSA My Page provided by your administrator.

2. Complete any authentication that you are prompted for.

3. In the My Authenticators tab, click Register an authenticator.

4. Click RSA Authenticator App and then follow the on-screen instructions to download the RSA Authenticator app.

   

5. On your computer, on the Registration page, click Next.

6. On your mobile device, open the RSA Authenticator app.

7. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

   

8. Allow or deny Google Analytics data collection. You can select either option to use the Authenticator app.

   

9. Tap Get Started.

10. Allow the app to access your camera.

11. Scan the QR code that displays on My Page.

    

    The app home screen appears, and the app is ready for use.

    

12. Tap Allow to allow the RSA Authenticator app to send notifications.

    

13. On your computer, on the Registration page, click Test Now. RSA sends a notification to your registered device. If you do not want to test, you can click Done.

14. On your mobile device, tap the notification and approve it.

15. The My Page home screen displays. You have successfully registered and tested your device.

Registration Using a Registration Code from the Administrator

1. On an iOS, Android, Windows, or macOS device, download the RSA Authenticator app:

   • iOS and macOS: Apple App Store
   • Android: Google Play
   • Windows: Microsoft Store

2. Open the RSA Authenticator app.

3. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

   

4. Allow or deny Google Analytics data collection. You can select either option to use the Authenticator app.

   

5. Tap Get Started.

6. Allow the app to access your camera.

7. Enter the Registration Code, Email Address, and Organization ID.

   

   The app home screen appears, and the app is ready for use.

   

8. Tap Allow to allow the RSA Authenticator app to send notifications.

   

9. On your computer, on the Registration page, click Test Now. RSA sends a notification to your registered device. If you do not want to test, you can click Done.

10. On your mobile device, tap the notification and approve it.

The My Page home screen displays. You have successfully registered and tested your device.
