Issue
Tables embedded in workflow email nodes are malformed after upgrading to RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1.
 
Cause
This is a known issue reported in engineering ticket ACM-98244.
 
Resolution
This issue is resolved in the following RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle versions and/or patch levels:
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.1 P03
  • RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2
To fix this issue, additional HTML tags were added to the allowed sanitized HTML tags defined under Admin > System > Security tab > XSS/Scripting Security fields.
 
Workaround
As a workaround there is a custom attribute called Deprecated.AllowAnyMarkup that may be added to the RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle application which will allow Any Markup for the workflow email nodes.
  1. In the user interface go to: Admin > System > Settings > Edit > scroll to the bottom under Custom.
  2. Add Deprecated.AllowAnyMarkup to the Parameter field.
  3. Add True to the Value field.
  4. Press Save > OK.
  5. Once saved, the parameter name will be appended with custom as in the following example:

To fix this specific problem, check Allow any markup under the Email Body (Workflow Emails) field.
