"The features parameter is not in a valid JSON format" error opening escalation workflow on RSA Governance & Lifecycle

Issue

When attempting to open an escalation workflow the following dialog box displays.

Invalid Features:
The features parameter is not in a valid JSON format.

Cause
This is a performance issue that occurs on some customer databases where there is a large amount of workpoint data. 
Resolution

This issue is resolved in the following versions that allows for a custom system setting that bypasses checks for deletable workflows on the startup of workpoint. 

 

  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.2 P07
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0.0

 

Please contact RSA Customer Support and quote this article number if you encounter this issue and they will advise you how to add the custom parameter. 

Workaround
Ensure Data Purging and Data Archiving is up to date.
