Issue

The error is seen while trying to upload the OVA image on VMWare version: 6.7 & 7.0

Cause

The VMware version can't parse the certificate with a syntax error in the signature

Resolution

In order to fix that issue using a tool like 7-zip we will delete the file that ends with .cert like the following below:

After doing that we can just simply import the OVA and the error should be gone after that.
