Issue
.Starting in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.1.x, the User Access Review has two options for the Reviewer Interface Style:
  • Default
  • Legacy
The Default Reviewer Interface Style is a new style introduced in 7.1.x. The Legacy Reviewer Interface Style is the old style available in prior versions of RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle.

When exporting greater than 5000 review items from a User Access Review that is using the Default Reviewer Interface Style (Reviews > My Reviews > {review name} > Perform button > Table Options > Export), the export fails with the following error:

A maximum of 5K items can be exported. Please apply filters on table to allow export.

NOTE: This is not a problem with the Legacy Reviewer Interface Style.

Cause
This was an intentional product restriction introduced in 7.1.0 P03 and 7.1.1 because the exporting of records in the Default Reviewer Interface Style did not constrain the number of records that could be loaded into memory and caused Out of Memory errors.

Resolution
Starting in RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle 7.2.0 the export was redesigned and there is no longer a 5000 review item limit when exporting review items.

Notes
Notes:
  • The Default Reviewer User Interface style is only viewable by reviewers and is not viewable by AveksaAdmin or System Administrators.
  • After you initiate an export of the review items, a progress indicator appears. If you navigate away from this screen, the export file continues to process in the background, and automatically downloads when complete.
