Issue
Error: "No additional applications designed for your handheld were found" while installing RSA SecurID Software Token on BlackBerry 8310 or 8830, or newer handhelds
Cause
Outdated vendor.xml and/or device.xml files on the BES Server or BlackBerry Desktop. Improper version of BlackBerry Handheld software, BlackBerry Desktop software, or BES Server software. Wrong files in application loader.
Resolution
Contact your wireless vendor or BlackBerry, and get updated device.xml and vendor.xml files. These should be applied to the BES server or BlackBerry Desktop Manager to allow it to properly recognize the device. Please see BlackBerry's support document KB04693 , "Cannot push applications to a BlackBerry smartphone over the wireless network" for more details

Contact your Wireless vendor for the updated BlackBerry Handheld software,  BlackBerry Device Software update, or BlackBerry Desktop, as appropriate for your situation. As an alternative, you can use

 http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp

to download the handheld software from BlackBerry, but the Wireless provider is the preferred source since they may have customized the software. When you update the BlackBerry Desktop software, it should update the vendor.xml and device.xml files listed above. The Device Software update will include an updated device.xml file to be applied to your BES Server or BlackBerry Desktop.

If using a BES Server, the customer should contact BlackBerry Support to get the latest version, service pack, and hotfixes for their BES Server. After these are applied, apply the BlackBerry Device Software update, to update the device.xml file referenced above.
On a BES server pushing with the Application loader, make sure the ONLY .xml files in the loader's directory are the vendor.xml and device.xml files.
Notes

You can also get newer versions of the device.xml and vendor.xml files from the BlackBerry website.
