Issue
pam_securid.so is busy, not able to remove/replace 
pam_securid.so is busy, not able to remove/replace’

 
Cause
pam_securid.so is not thread-safe, and hence the issue.
Workaround
To workaround this issue, the administrator will have to login with tools other than ssh (rlogin, ftp or telnet) and remove pam_securid.so
Notes
Thread safety (or a thread-safe application) ensures that this application can be accessed simultaneosuly by several different threads seamlessly without issues. However, according to the "RSA Authentication Agent 7.1 for PAM—Installation and Configuration Guide for RHEL", the following error is thrown when the PAM agent is attempted to be upgraded or uninstalled, and to work around this, the administrator will have to login with tools other than ssh and remove pam_securid.so: 

"pam_securid.so is busy, not able to remove/replace"
