This is a known issue in the following versions.

  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.2.x
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.0
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.2
Issue
After clicking on Maintain/Revoke for all items under a specific role, The finish button must be clicked to lock the role,  prevent it from being edited further, and submit change requests for the revoked items
If you clicked on "Close" instead of "Finish" The role will be ignored during the sign-off.
Even if we navigated to the role again and click on finish, The role will be ignored during the sign-off and no change request will be generated for the revoked items.

-If we Clicked on "Close" instead of "Finish" and then navigated to the role again and clicked on "Finish" we will get the below scenario,
The role will be unlocked and can be edited.

-If we clicked on "Finish", The role will be locked and can't be edited.

Cause

The sign-off was ignored because the user was reviewing a role in multiple steps and after finishing all items user just clicked on "Cancel".

In the second step, the User clicked on the finish button after navigating the role again without taking any actions as all items were already reviewed in the first step so there were no changes and due to this, that role was not getting reviewed completely and got ignored during sign-off.

Resolution
This is resolved in the following versions which correct the problem.
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.0 P09
  • RSA Governance & Lifecycle 7.5.2 P04
Workaround
Toggle the button state (uncheck and check the maintain/revoke option for any item) and then clicking on the "Finish" button again.
