Generic REST Connector for Azure / Entra ID Integration
Hi everyone,
In older versions of RSA Identity Governance & Lifecycle (IG&L), there was a dedicated connector for integrating with Azure Active Directory (now Microsoft Entra ID).
My understanding is that the current recommendation is to use the Generic REST Connector for this integration.
I have a few questions regarding this approach:
- Functional limitations: Are there any limitations when using the Generic REST Connector to integrate with Azure / Entra ID? Specifically, are there any features or capabilities supported by the legacy dedicated connector that cannot be implemented using the Generic REST Connector?
- RSA recommendations and configuration: Does RSA provide any official guidelines, recommended configurations, or best practices for integrating with Azure / Entra ID using the Generic REST Connector?
Any documentation, recommendations, or insights based on practical experience would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
