Issue

This article provides information on what are the restrictions or limitations to users that are using the On-Demand Tokencodes as a mode of authentication in RSA Authentication Manager.

Resolution

The following restrictions apply to users using on-demand tokencodes:

1. Users cannot perform trusted-realm authentications.
2. Users cannot authenticate using an alias, except when authenticating through an authentication agent.
3. The PIN for an on-demand tokencode should not be the same as a fixed passcode assigned to the user.
4. EAP32-enabled authentication agents do not support on-demand tokencodes.
