Global Protect VPN Client Side Sample Configuration

Procedure

Click on the Global Protect icon on your computer.

Enter the portal hostname or IP address.
Note: This should be the name or IP address that has been configured for the Global Protect Portal on Palo Alto. It should be pointing to the interface that is enabled for Global Protect Portal.

Authenticate according to the policy that has been configured for Portal Authentication.

Depending on your configuration, you may be directed to the needed Gateway for additional authentication.

Once authenticated, you should be able to use Global Protect according to the authentication method that has been configured on Palo Alto.
