• RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0.0 P07 HF01

After applying the patch P07_HF01 on RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0, it is observed after logging in to the UI that the menu bar on the top and footer section in the bottom are not visible on the UI.  The middle section of the page shows the applicable content as shown in the screenshot below. Without the menu bar, users can not navigate between pages.

A package rsync is not installed on the host where RSA Governance & Lifecycle is installed.  The package rsync is required by the patch installer for RSA Governance & Lifecycle 8.0.0 P07 HF01 and later.

Follow the documentation of the respective Operating System (RHEL or SUSE) where RSA Governance & Lifecycle is installed to install the rsync package. For example, the package can be installed using the below command: 

yum install rsync 

After installing the rsync package, you must re-apply the patch (P07 HF01 in this scenario) again by running the patch.sh script.

This issue is resolved in the following version, where the patch installation script verifies the presence of rsync package before applying the patch:
