RSA is immediately shipping the RSA SecurID Hardware Appliance Model 230 based on the Dell PowerEdge R240 server. This new model delivers an increase in performance and includes the Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC), which can be used for disaster recovery situations. New SKUs are required to order this appliance.

In conjunction, RSA is announcing the End-Of-Sale for the RSA SecurID Hardware Appliance Model 130 based on Dell® PowerEdge R230 Server. All Dell-based RSA SecurID Appliance Model 130s will continue to be supported with the standard Advanced Hardware Replacement for Years 1-3 plus Year 4 and Year 5 Extended Support options purchased separately.

RSA SecurID Hardware Appliances are interchangeable within any RSA SecurID deployment but they all must be running the same RSA Authentication Manager release.
