RSA is immediately shipping the RSA SecurID Hardware Appliance Model 350 based on the Dell PowerEdge R640 server. This new model delivers an increase in performance with twice the disk capacity and the Dell Remote Access Controller (iDRAC), which can be used for disaster recovery situations. New SKUs are required to order this appliance.

In conjunction, RSA is announcing the following:

• End-Of-Sale for the RSA SecurID Hardware Appliance Model 250 based on Dell® PowerEdge R630 Server. All Dell-based RSA SecurID Appliance Model 250s will continue to be supported with the standard Advanced Hardware Replacement for Years 1-3 plus Year 4 and Year 5 Extended Support options purchased separately.
• End-Of-Support for the RSA SecurID Hardware Appliance Model 250 and Model 130 based on the Intel® hardware.

RSA SecurID Hardware Appliances are interchangeable within any RSA SecurID deployment but they all must be running the same RSA Authentication Manager release.
