Issue
  • Unable to set credentials or configure RSA SecurID Appliance 350 iDRAC configuration.
  • F10 reboots system.
  • The symptom here is unable to access any settings for the iDRAC configuration.
Cause
At this time, the cause is unknown.
Resolution
To resolve the issue,
  1. Login with the default administrator account (user name: root, password: themaster01).
  2. Check Local Configuration Settings.
  3. While the iDRAC is not accessible, the default IP address should be set to 192.168.0.1.
  4. Connect a laptop, setting a static IP in that range and then log into the iDRAC at the default address.
  5. Go to iDRAC Settings > Services.
  6. Under Local Configuration, both options should be set to Disabled, as shown below.
