Within the next few months, RSA SecurID Access plans to release the following features.

RSA SecurID Software Token App to Become the New SecurID App!

An all-new card-style user interface--designed for improved usability and greater accessibility—will make it easier than ever for iOS and Android users to manage multiple tokens, generate tokencodes, and view token information all in one place. The new SecurID app will be an upgrade from the existing RSA SecurID Software Token app.

Develop Custom Apps with the New Mobile SDK

Your organization will be able to develop its own custom mobile app with full control over the user experience, including the app look and feel, to provide users with secure and seamless authentication. The SDK will support passwordless sign-in, as well as a single identity backplane for enterprise and consumer use cases.

Cloud-Managed SecurID 700 Tokens

Unleash the full potential of the cloud authentication platform with native support for SID700 hardware tokens in the Cloud Authentication Service to meet specific regulatory, security, and business requirements. An Authentication Manager deployment is not required.

RSA SecurID Access is on Track for FedRAMP Authorization

The Federal Risk and Management Program’s Joint Authorization Board (FedRAMP JAB) announced it is prioritizing RSA SecurID Access for a slot to work with the JAB to achieve a Provisional Authorization to Operate (P-ATO). By prioritizing RSA SecurID Access, the JAB – the primary governance and decision-making body for FedRAMP, consisting of the CIOs from the Department of Homeland Security, General Services Administration, and Department of Defense – signals that RSA is on its way to securing access for federal agencies and public sector organizations in the cloud.
