Error: License is invalid & IP address shown as 255.255.255.255 in performance tab.
Other symptoms observed with an incorrectly named "LAN" network interface include:
1. No Alerts showing in Alert History or Real-time Detail under the Alerts tab of the enVision GUI.
Evidence that Alerts are been generated was found by using in the enVision GUI, Analysis -> Query -> Create new Query, Select table to query: Alerts. This showed alerts with an originating address of 255.255.255.255.
2. EventExplorer is unable to open the attachment of system generated Incidents.
Evidence found in the A-Srv appserver.db database, query the attachment table for a problem Incident ID and it shows a Trace entry with a file_url field referencing https://255.255.255.255:8443 /localservice/EventLogServlet/...
Also when running the NIC Alerter service in debug mode found in pi_alerter.log it has references to OutputParms EventLogServletURL = https://255.255.255.255:8443/localservice/EventLogServlet
Cause
Resolution
1. Stop enVision services
2. Rename the network interface "Internal Network" to "LAN".
3. Start enVision services
